Bow Valley Septic Ltd. was founded in August 1994 by Terry and Bev Loeppky with a simple mission: provide honest, reliable septic services to homeowners and businesses in the Calgary area. We started with a single tandem vacuum truck and a commitment to doing the job right — and that commitment hasn’t changed.
Today, Bow Valley Septic is one of the most trusted septic tank cleaning and maintenance companies serving Calgary, Rocky View County, and the surrounding communities — but we still operate like a family business, because that’s exactly what we are.
We handle the full range of residential and commercial septic needs — from routine septic tank pumping and holding tank cleaning, to pre-purchase inspections, pump installations, and commercial lift station and sump cleaning. Our vacuum trucks are built to handle non-hazardous liquid waste efficiently, and our team brings the knowledge to identify problems before they become expensive emergencies.

Training & Certifications
Every Bow Valley Septic employee receives hands-on field training before working independently. Our team holds current certifications in:
- TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) — ensures safe handling and transport of liquid waste materials
- H2S Alive — training for working safely in environments where hydrogen sulphide gas may be present, a real concern in septic and waste work
- WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) — Canada’s national standard for workplace chemical safety
All of our vacuum trucks carry valid Commercial Vehicle Inspection certificates, and we maintain an active health and safety program. When our crew is on your property, you can trust they’re operating to the highest safety standards.
